"You have a lot of pets!"
When you move as often as I have in the last eight years, you really treasure having something or someone that is going to stay with you through it all. It helps to give you a sense of stability when it seems the world around you only makes cameo appearances.
For me, that stability comes from my pets. No matter where I go, or how fate is treating me at the time, I can always depend on having my little monsters there at the end of the day.
All of them are full of personality (yes, even the fish...), love attention, and have a story to tell.
