This wig has been a long time in the making. In 2006 and 2007, she travelled with me to the various workshops I offered, and the students got to create different parts. The beginner classes did custom coloring, the intermediate group did dreadlocks, and the advanced students did odangos. (Although the odangos didn't quite make it.)

I intended to have this ready by last Halloween, but it just wasn't ready. So Dani and I sat down yesterday and added all of the finishing touches (like the TENTACLES! Ewwww!), and now she's finally ready to see the world.

A portion of the sale price of this wig will go to Locks of Love, which is a charity providing low cost or free hair replacement systems for children.
