"Fire Goddess Party Wig (Original)"
Notes:
This wig was supposed to accompany a "fire goddess" type of costume, with lots of feathers for flames. So I went for a more "phoenix" approach, with lots of dyed feathers, custom dyed dreadlocks, and gradient dyed long extensions in the back. The whole thing is topped off with a fiery crown I made by hand stringing glass beads onto jewelry wire.

The trickiest part of this design, was that the girl wearing it had requested a mid-back length wig, but I knew that the whole "flames" look would be totally lost of the wig wasn't in at least a partial updo, so I got to do some interesting structure work with this one. ^,^'

Now if only my camera didn't suck so much, and I could have taken some better shots of the details without the red drowning everything out. ;_;
