Yumei Katana
After receiving an invitation to come take care of her aunt's house in Hawaii, Yumei made the long trip across the Pacific to a sleepy island town, looking forward to a nice break and some R&R. Of course, the life of a ninja girl is never that simple.
Yumei is generally viewed as a tomboy, a tough martial artist who sees most girls as overly emotional wimps. But she too sometimes falls prey to her "weaker" side. She's used to people trying to kill her, but now people are trying to date her too! |

Michael, without a doubt, is the toughest guy at Wunan High School. He rules Yumei's homeroom class with an iron fist, terrorizing the other students, and blackmailing the faculty. But there's a lot more to Michael than his bully exterior... |

Thor Smith
This friendly surfer boy is actually the son of the Norse thunder god Thor, but is completely clueless about it. A side effect of his heritage are tiny localized rainshowers that follow him around whenever he's in a bad mood.
Thor is very old fashioned and a bit naive, which might be just the mellow attitude best suited to dealing with Yumei's anger management issues. It's nearly impossible to make Thor angry, unless your name starts with a "Y" and ends with "oji". |

Yoji Kiyama
Yoji has trained in both the sword arts of the Samurai, and the "sneaky arts" of the Ninja, making him a formidable fighter. Worse yet, he's on a mysterious mission to kill Yumei, and won't take no for an answer.
He has a counter for all of Yumei's tricks, and can more than match her for speed and strength. There's just this one little thing that prevents him from being the ultimate killing machine... |

Lokki
Lokki is the daughter of the Norse god of Mischief and Deceit, Loki. She has been sent be her dad to "deal with" Thor, the son of his longtime rival, but like most other 15-year-olds, isn't particularly interested in listening to authority. (Especially when the "authority figure" is in jail!)
Lokki's connection to the mortal realm is in the form of a Weinee Baby doll, which she reverts to when resting, and sometimes finds herself in unexpected locations when she wakes back up! |

Guru Li
Michael's best friend, and resident tech-geek at Wunan High. He spends most of his time playing video games, chatting on the internet, or beating the pants off of all the kids at the local arcade.
Guru's easygoing personality helps balance out Michael's arrogance. He's shy with girls, but very polite and helpful, and seems to have taken a special interest in Yumei. |

Yoshiko Nijima
The "smart girl" in class. She's sweet, cheerful, and a hard worker, and after school is a waitress at the local "Happy Family Restaraunt".
Although she is usually a bucket of sunshine, she can get very angry if provoked, and isn't afraid to stand up for herself. |

Junzo Maki
Junzo impressive physique and showmanship will really payoff when she acheives her dream of being a profesional wrestler. She is the reigning champ at the Lava Club, where she has earned the nickname "The Human Volcano".
But Junzo's size isn't always a blessing, especially since it intimidates all of the boys at the school. The only one tall enough to even kiss her is Michael! |
