Accidents happen...
No matter how careful we are, we've all had a cosplay accident. Whether your wings got caught in an elevator door, you spilled your Ramune on your satin robes, or snagged your wig in a low-hanging plant.

That's why I'm offering warranties for my Character Wig designs. These can be purchased separately from your wig order at any time before your delivery date, and are good for 2 years, or two repairs, whichever comes first.

The cost of the warranty is based on the minimum styling fee of your wig. Here's an example:

"Dorothy (Big O)"

Base Materials:
Medium Length Wig
Styrofoam Wig Form
MicroMesh Wig Cap
Base Materials Cost $43 -Refundable-
US Packaging & Shipping $10 -Refundable-

Minumum Styling Fee: 3 Units Required x $6 = $18 -Not Refundable-

So if you ordered a wig with a $18 styling minimum fee, you may purchase a warranty for it for $18. Your warranty will go into effect on the date of delivery, not your date of purchase.

What is covered by the Wig Warranty?
If you purchase a Wig Warranty from me, I agree to do free repairs of "reasonable damage" for either two years, or two repairs, (whichever comes first...) on the wig you have purchased the warranty for. "Reasonable damage" includes:

Limp Curls or Bangs
Snagged Ponytails
Excessive Tangles
Smooshing Damage from Shipping
Detatched Odangos or Extensions
Loose Stiching

There are types of damage that are not covered by the warranty. These are the types that result from abuse and mistreatment of the wig. My wigs are built to last with good care and storage, and I will be able to tell right away if the wig you send for repairs has been modified or improperly cared for. (Or stored in a pile of clothes...) Types of damage that are not covered by the warranty include:

Heat Damage
Cutting Damage
Staining
Chemical Damage
Crushed Odangos or Foamcore
Tearing of the Mesh

If you have a wig under warranty that you need repairs for, simply email me a picture of the damage, and I will determine whether or not it is repairable. Turn around time for repairs is about two weeks. The cost of return shipping is included in the warranty. (If you are in Canada, add USD$10, other countries, add USD$25.)

How to purchase a Wig Warranty...
You may only purchase a warranty for your wig if your "need-by" date is after today's date. I can not sell you a warranty on a wig I have already shipped to you.

If you would like to purchase a Wig Warranty with a credit or debit card, just fill out the info below and click the "Add to Cart" button to proceed.

If you take good care of your wig, it will last much longer! 1. Always store your wig on its wig form when not in use.
2. Keep it away from sources of heat or flame.
3. Keep it out of the reach of small children or pets.
4. Do not store it near fans, air conditioners, or refrigerators.
5. If it is a long design, either allow it to hang free, or carefully net the hair back into place to prevent kinks and tangles.
6. Be careful when putting it on and taking it off to not tug on the fiber. (Hold onto the mesh.)
7. Do not use harsh chemicals or detergents to clean it.
8. Remove tangles using your fingers or a wide toothed comb. Do not brush.

9. Use small ball pointed hairpins to secure the wig to your head. Do not use clips.
